INDELIBLE: Impossible to remove, erase, or wash away, permanent. (Definition from The FreeDictionary.com)
Kristen Heitzmann has written a book that will remain with you after you have read the last page. Her characters are strong and powerful. The plot is tight and you have to read the next page and the next page to find out what is going to happen next.
The opening chapter is dynamic and heart-stopping. Kristen keeps the fast pace going from page one to the end and never loses her reader.
Trevor is a take-charge, never give up kind of fella who hides his pain and fears by running in the face of danger to save those not able to save themselves.
Natalie is an artist with an unusual way of seeing things, especially the faces of those around her. Her medium is clay and what she creates is beautiful, powerful and truthful. She sees in people what God sees in them.
These two people could probably stand by themselves in the story, however Kristen has surrounded them with friends and family and all of the entanglements that come with relationships; thereby making solid characters more whole and complete.
This is a book I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful story to read.
Kristen Heitzmann is the bestselling author of seventeen novels, including The Edge of Recall and the Christy Award winner Secrets. An artist and music minister, Kristen lives in Colorado Springs with her husband, Jim, and their family.
