MY FOOLISH HEART GIVEAWAY AND REVIEW!

If you have read any of Susan Warren's books then you know you are in for a treat with My Foolish Heart. Filled with humor, love and some real life problems, My Foolish Heart will win your heart with the first page.

Deep Haven is a lovely little fishing town filled with everyday people with everyday problems. It also has the World's Best Donuts and the Deep Haven Huskies football team.

Deep Haven is also the home of Miss Foolish Heart, a internet radio program that is hosted by Isadora Presley. Issy gives advise about love and relationships to people across the country. Things start to get real interesting when she begins to give The Boy Nextdoor advise, not knowing who he is and he doesn't know who she is in real life.

I found myself relating with Issy and her particular "disability" that kept her a virtual prisoner in her own home. My heart went out for Caleb as he dealt with his own physical disability as well as trying to earn his position as coach for the Deep Haven Huskies. Lucy, Issy's best friend, had some real life problems that deal with the World's Best Donuts as well as Seb. Yet through all of their problems you could see hope and healing that comes from them turning and relying on God.

Susan Warren is a wonderful writer with a style that's full of wittiness and warmth. Her characters are believable, heart-tugging, and full of life.

If you are looking for a good book to start your summer reading program, then let me recommend this one. You won't be disappointed.

This book was provided free to me from Litfuse Publicity for the purpose of reviewing. Everything I have said about the book is of my own opinion.

Here's a little about Susan May Warren!

Susan May Warren is an award-winning, best-selling author of over twenty-five novels, many of which have won the Inspirational Readers Choice Award, the ACFW Book of the Year award, the Rita Award, and have been Christy finalists. After serving as a missionary for eight years in Russia, Susan returned home to a small town on Minnesota’s beautiful Lake Superior shore where she, her four children, and her husband are active in their local church.

Susan's larger than life characters and layered plots have won her acclaim with readers and reviewers alike. A seasoned women’s events and retreats speaker, she’s a popular writing teacher at conferences around the nation and the author of the beginning writer’s workbook: From the Inside-Out: discover, create and publish the novel in you!. She is also the founder ofwww.MyBookTherapy.com, a story-crafting service that helps authors discover their voice.

Susan makes her home in northern Minnesota, where she is busy cheering on her two sons in football, and her daughter in local theater productions (and desperately missing her college-age son!)
